Machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for light weight, high strength, and perfect fit and finish, the Silver Bullet lengthens the intake tract to increase air speed into the engine, which is where the improved throttle response comes from.

The bore uses aFe's patented serrated/helix combination design that creates intake turbulence, breaking up fuel for a more complete combustion cycle to increase horsepower, torque, and throttle response. The serrated portion of the design also reduces the intake whistle that plain helix-only spacers are known for. It installs using the factory mounting locations, works with the stock intake or aFe's Momentum GT intakes, and it's CARB exempt (EO# D-550-42), so emissions compliance isn't a worry.
